Description:
We are a growing firm, looking for an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for someone who has 3+ years of family law experience.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Family Law experience
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in Illinois and in good standing
- Hearing and trial experience
Responsibilities:
- Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases
- Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process
- Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date
- Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action
- Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
