Description:
Wyatt Law & Associates is a locally owned Springfield firm representing clients in family law, related civil matters, and select other practice areas. We are hiring an attorney to join a hands-on practice that handles divorce, custody and visitation, paternity, child support (including Form 14 work, modifications, and enforcement), property division, protection orders, and related litigation and settlement work in Greene, Christian, and surrounding counties.Family law experience is preferred. We will train a licensed attorney who writes well, is organized, and is willing to learn courtroom and file-management practice in southwest Missouri.
Compensation:
- Starting salary: $80,000.00-$120,000.00
- Monthly bonuses
What you will do:
- Handle family law files from intake through settlement or trial, including pleadings, discovery, negotiations, hearings, and client communication
- Draft motions, affidavits, parenting plans, settlement documents, and related filings
- Appear in local courts and work files in Greene County, Christian County, and nearby venues
- Assist with related civil matters as assigned
- Work directly with the firm's attorney rather than through layers of staff
What we are looking for:
- Active Missouri law license in good standing (required)
- Strong writing and organization
- Comfort with client-facing work and courtroom appearances
- Family law experience preferred; new or transitioning attorneys considered if willing to train
- Reliability, discretion, and follow-through on deadlines
