We are seeking a Family Law Attorney with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience who wants to grow their litigation skills while making a meaningful impact on clients' lives. Responsibilities:
As a Family Law Attorney, you will be instrumental in establishing our family law
practice. Our firm is built on a foundation of strong litigation skills and courtroom
success, and we are now expanding into family law.
We need an attorney with 3-5byears of family law experience who can bring substantive knowledge of domestic relations procedures, family court practices, and the unique aspects of representing clients through divorce, custody matters, and related issues. In return, you will work alongside trial-tested partners who will support your litigation development while learning from your family law expertise. This is a unique opportunity to build a practice area with the backing of experienced litigators and firm infrastructure.
Your work will span the full range of family law matters, from initial consultations through final judgment. You will apply your expertise in divorce, child custody, and allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, maintenance, property division, orders of protection, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and post-decree modifications while continuing to refine your ability to balance empathy for clients with strategic advocacy that protects their rights and interests.
We use cutting-edge technology and AI tools to enhance our research capabilities and case management efficiency. However, we never lose sight of what matters most: families need attorneys who combine technological advantages with sound legal judgment, genuine empathy, and courtroom skills to protect their interests when settlement is not possible.
Qualifications:
What We're Looking For:
- 3-5 years of family law experience with a desire for continued growth
- Strong foundation in legal research, writing, and developing oral advocacy skills
- Interest in mastering Illinois family law and domestic relations procedure
- Experience with family law pleadings, discovery, and court appearances
- Ability to handle emotionally charged situations with empathy and professionalism
- Detail-oriented approach to case management with the ability to handle multiple
- matters
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with clients during difficult times
- Team player mentality with a collaborative approach
- Independent work style balanced with openness to mentorship and learning
- Illinois Bar admission in good standing
Compensation:
$100,000 - $140,000 yearly
