Duties:
- Represent clients in family law proceedings such as divorce, child custody, visitation, domestic violence, and support disputes with professionalism and confidence
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis to stay current on relevant statutes and case law
- Draft clear, precise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings
- Negotiate settlements effectively to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining professionalism and empathy
- Manage case files meticulously, ensuring all documentation is accurate and correct.
- Work well with a paralegal to provide the best representation to your clients.
Qualifications:
- California Bar license in good standing
- Proven experience practicing family law or law with a strong track record of successful case management
- Exceptional research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar legal research platforms
- Excellent writing skills demonstrated through compelling legal drafting and persuasive advocacy
- Strong negotiation abilities to resolve disputes efficiently and amicably
- Prior experience working in a law office setting with legal administrative experience preferred
Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
