Ideally, we are looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience; however, we are open to a recent law school graduate who is extraordinary, serious, and willing to learn.Responsibilities.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, including depositions/examinations questions
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda
- Handle hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
- Keep track of deadlines
- Proofread and review the paralegal's work
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the State of Florida
- Three years or more of experience as a family law attorney
- Open to a recent law school graduate who is exceptional (on a case-by-case basis).
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Research and writing skills
- Able to communicate with clients effectively to ensure client satisfaction
- Team player
