About You:- You're a proven family law attorney with at least 5 years of experience and a strong track record of handling family law matters.
- You're a problem-solver who can assess the facts of a case, identify the issues that matter most, develop thoughtful solutions, and confidently determine the next steps.
- You're a self-starter who takes ownership of your cases, works independently, and proactively moves matters forward.
- You're organized and focused, able to prioritize the most important issues in a case, work efficiently through complex assignments, and see tasks through from start to finish.
- You're detail-oriented, having a high level of attention to detail and ensuring accuracy in legal documents, filings, and case strategy.
- You're fast-paced with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work.
About the Job:
You'll be responsible for:
- Vigorously representing our clients and their interests.
- Collaboratively assisting and learning from an experienced team while taking increasing ownership of your cases and responsibilities.
- Expertly researching statutes, case law, opinions, briefs, and other information needed for our cases.
- Independently managing case responsibilities, staying organized, anticipating next steps, and adapting as cases develop.
- Carefully crafting important court filings and supporting documents, including pleadings, initial filings, requests for orders, discovery, client declarations, stipulations, and temporary restraining orders.
- Assiduously following up on correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a family law attorney in Southern California
- Must have a Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA accredited law school
- CA State Bar License
