Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Family Law Attorney to handle a diverse caseload involving divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, domestic violence, and other family law matters. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation and negotiation skills, a client-centered approach, and a passion for helping families navigate complex legal situations.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in family law cases including divorce, custody, support, paternity, guardianship, and domestic violence matters.
Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and discovery responses.
Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
Provide compassionate and clear legal counsel to clients throughout the case lifecycle.
Negotiate settlements and parenting agreements.
Collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and other attorneys.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the case management system.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with the Louisville Bar Association.
Minimum [3] years of family law experience preferred.
Strong litigation and negotiation experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases with strong organizational and time management skills.
High level of professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
