Please note that the work location is in person or Remote as long as you are licensed to appear in State of the Florida or the judge.Job Summary: As a Family Law Attorney at A Robust & Vibrant Boutique Law Firm, you will work closely with our team of experienced attorneys to assist in a variety of tasks related to family law cases. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of family law while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on family law issues, statutes, and case law.
- Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits.
- Prepare and organize legal correspondence, exhibits, and other case-related materials.
- Maintain and update case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in client interviews, document review, and case preparation.
- Attend court hearings and proceedings as needed.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Stay updated on changes in Florida family law and legal procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law or a related field (J.D. candidates or law school students preferred).
- Proficiency in family law and a strong understanding of Florida family law statutes and procedures.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a paralegal in Florida family law.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal setting is a plus.
