Our office is seeking a skilled family law Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in family law. Although this is primarily a family law position, a motivated candidate may also be able to practice in related areas such a probate, estate planning, guardianships, and personal injury . This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and the chance to work on diverse legal matters in a collaborative environment. Our practice is primarily focused in Pierce County but may include handling legal matters in surrounding counties. Pay is commensurate with skill and experience.

Duties:
You will be responsible for a range of legal tasks, including:
  • Conducting legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
  • Drafting legal documents, including briefs, motions, and declarations.
  • Completing discovery.
  • Representing clients in negotiations and litigation throughout the legal process.
  • Clearly advising and communicating with clients.
  • Maintaining organized case files and documentation.
  • Representing the client in all court proceedings.

Qualifications:
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school.
  • Active license in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.
  • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests.
  • Excellent writing skills for legal drafting and documentation purposes.
  • Ability to conduct thorough legal research with attention to detail.
