Associate Attorney – Family Law

A Family, Criminal Defense, Personal Injury Law Firm, a well-established practice with over 17 years of proven success in family law, wills, and estate planning, is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our growing team.

This is a hybrid remote position with competitive pay, full benefits, and significant courtroom opportunities.

Position Details:

Title: Associate Attorney
Practice Area: Family Law
Experience: Minimum 3 years (must include trial experience)
Location: Odessa, Midland, or Dallas Metroplex (occasional travel between offices and courts in West Texas and DFW – all travel expenses covered by the firm)

Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters including divorce, custody, modifications, enforcements, adoptions, and other related issues.
Represent clients in courtroom hearings and trials across West Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, orders, and settlement agreements.
Work collaboratively with a skilled team of attorneys and paralegals to provide outstanding client service.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, empathy, and advocacy for clients during some of life's most challenging moments.

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active Texas State Bar license (required).
Minimum of 3 years of legal practice in family law, with courtroom and trial experience.
Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage cases independently while thriving in a team-focused environment.
