What You'll Do:
  • Represent clients in a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, alimony, property division, and more.
  • Conduct legal research, draft motions and pleadings, and negotiate settlements that align with client goals.
  • Provide empathetic legal counsel to clients, navigating complex and emotional family law matters.
  • Advocate for clients in court, including trials, hearings, and other proceedings.
  • Work closely with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure seamless case management.
  • Stay ahead of trends in family law by participating in professional development and firm-sponsored training.
  • Engage in business development by networking and attending community outreach events.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: At least 2 years of family law experience (bonus points for a portable book of business).
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Florida Bar Membership: Active and in good standing.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Ability to handle multiple cases in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Character: You're compassionate, client-focused, and thrive in a collaborative setting.
