Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court hearings and offer legal counsel in family law
- Maintain well-organized files to ensure team members have timely access to updates
- Provide conflict resolution guidance, analyze legal matters, and engage in negotiations for clients specializing in family law
- Create various legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and settlement agreements
- Facilitate efficient case management by effectively communicating with clients and paralegals
- Attend team meetings on a regular, scheduled basis
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience handling family law cases in Texas
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Proficiency in accurately tracking billable hours
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new software
- Experience with MyCase and TxDocs preferred
- Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and reliability
- Problem-solving and effective communication skills
- Ability to reliably commute to Austin, TX 78746
Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 yearly
