Sunnen Law is growing, and we are looking for a driven, compassionate, and detail-oriented Family Law Associate Attorney to join our team and work directly alongside Attorney Sunnen in managing and litigating family law matters.If you are passionate about family law, enjoy courtroom advocacy, and want hands-on experience handling meaningful cases, this is the opportunity for you.
What We're Looking For:
- Active California Bar License in good standing (required)
- Experience in family law preferred (but candidates with strong litigation interest may also be considered)
- Comfortable handling hearings, drafting pleadings, and client communication
- Strong writing, research, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage case deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, empathetic, and client-focused mindset
What You'll Do:
- Appear in court (RFOs, status conferences, restraining order hearings, evidentiary hearings, etc.)
- Draft motions, declarations, settlement agreements, pleadings, and discovery
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Manage case strategy and preparation alongside Attorney Sunnen
- Work collaboratively in a supportive and growth-focused environment
