Description:

Youngblood Law is a Fort Worth family law firm built around a different idea of divorce: thoughtful, strategic representation that helps clients come out of one of the hardest seasons of their lives in a better position. We're growing, and we're looking for an experienced family law attorney who wants to do excellent legal work without carrying the whole case alone.

Why Youngblood Law
  • A firm that's growing. Youngblood Law has grown steadily year over year, and we're building for what's next. For you, that means a steady caseload, ongoing investment in staff and systems, and room to grow with the firm.
  • A real support team. Every attorney is paired with a dedicated paralegal. Our intake, reception, and billing teams handle the phones, scheduling, and invoicing, so you can focus on your clients and your cases.
  • A defined case process. Every matter follows a clear roadmap, from initial pleadings and temporary orders through discovery, mediation, trial, and final documents. You'll always know where a case stands and what comes next.
  • A different approach to family law. We negotiate settlements that move clients past the win-lose mindset, and we're fully prepared for court when negotiation isn't enough. Our clients leave feeling they had a thoughtful, caring team in their corner.
  • Owners who are in it with you. You'll work directly with managing partners Paul and Holly Youngblood, with mentorship and a voice in how the firm grows.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage your own caseload of divorce, custody (SAPCR), protective order, and adoption matters.
  • Build each case strategy around the client's goals, from first consultation through final orders.
  • Draft and edit pleadings, discovery, and settlement documents.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel and lead clients through mediation.
  • Advocate confidently in hearings and trial when negotiation isn't enough.
  • Advise clients on reducing stress and risk during the case, and on preparing for life after it.
  • Work closely with your paralegal and the support team to give every client a consistent, caring experience.

Who You Are:
Required:
  • Licensed by the State of Texas (active State Bar of Texas member in good standing)
  • 3+ years of Texas family law experience (strong candidates with 2 years and real courtroom experience are encouraged to apply)
  • Experience with divorce, SAPCRs, and protective orders.

You'll thrive here if you:

  • Take ownership of your caseload and see what needs to happen next without waiting to be asked
  • Enjoy working in a team model, with a dedicated paralegal and support staff
  • Bring empathy and creativity to clients going through a difficult time
  • Are settlement-first but trial-ready
  • Bring energy, a positive attitude, and a desire to help the firm grow
