Overview:
We are seeking an individual to independently manage a caseload focused on family law matters, with guidance and support from the firm's principal attorney and staff. Experience in drafting pleadings, financial disclosures, conducting settlement conferences, and delivering oral arguments in court is essential. We are looking for candidates who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. A minimum of two years experience in Family Law is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage your own caseload in a moderately paced, team-oriented environment
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, settlement conferences, and trials
  • Propound and respond to discovery demands
  • Prepare and review disclosures
  • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
  • Provide consultations for prospective clients

Qualifications:
  • Active member of the State Bar of California
  • Experience managing issues related to divorce, child support, custody, spousal support, and domestic violence matters
  • General knowledge of the California Rules of Court, San Diego Local Rules, court forms, and filing procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
