What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a skilled Immigration Associate Attorney who is:
  • Experienced (3–7+ years) in removal defense and/or family-based immigration petitions.
  • Fluent in Spanish (a must).
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia Bar (or eligible to waive in; other state licenses considered).
  • A strong leader who can manage and mentor paralegals while running an independent caseload.
  • Tech-savvy, organized, and solution-focused.
  • Motivated by results and client impact, not just billable hours.

This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta. Attorneys commute to the office twice a week for collaboration, strategy, and leadership meetings.

What You'll Do:
  • Represent clients in removal proceedings and family-based immigration matters.
  • Develop case strategies, draft motions, briefs, and filings.
  • Provide clear, compassionate counsel to clients navigating high-stakes immigration issues.
  • Lead and supervise a team of paralegals and legal support staff.
  • Collaborate with a high-performing, mission-driven legal team.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks
  • Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients' needs after analysis
  • Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action
  • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions

Qualifications:
  • 3–7+ years of experience in removal defense and family-based immigration law
  • Active Georgia Bar license (or eligible to waive in; other state licenses considered)
  • Fluent in Spanish (required)
  • Proven ability to supervise paralegals and manage an independent caseload
  • Experience with KPI and metric-based attorney evaluations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal writing skills (motions, briefs, filings)
  • Ability to build strong rapport with clients and communicate with clarity and empathy
  • Genuine passion for advocating for immigrants and guiding them through difficult challenges
  • High-level interpersonal and organizational skills, with excellent research and writing ability
  • Working knowledge of immigration case management systems and strong tech skills
