The work is real, the cases are interesting, and the firm is built to let attorneys practice at a high level without the administrative drag most family law jobs come with.

We're hiring an experienced family law attorney who wants a real path, not a holding pattern.

A practicing Arizona family law attorney with cases you've owned start to finish.

Comfortable across the range, from high-conflict custody to complex high-asset matters.

Modern Law has a written six-level attorney career ladder: Associate, Advanced Associate, Senior, Managing, Non-Equity Partner, Equity Partner. Partnership is not a vague promise. The criteria for each level are documented, attorneys are actively progressing through them right now, and if becoming an owner of this firm is your goal, that is a conversation we can have on day one.

The Tools
We invest heavily in technology. AI tools, integrated practice management, and automation are built around how the work actually flows. You will not be the first person here trying to figure out how to use a new system, and you will not be doing work a machine should be doing for you.

The Work
Because the client base spans low-income to ultra-high-net-worth, you can delve into sophisticated, complex matters without losing the meaningful community work that keeps a family law practice grounded. You will not be pigeonholed.

Responsibilities:

Lead client consultations to understand their unique family law needs and provide tailored legal advice.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation, and negotiations, ensuring their best interests are always prioritized.
Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements, with precision and attention to detail.
Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to develop comprehensive case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
Stay informed about changes in family law and related fields to provide clients with the most current and effective legal solutions.
Utilize advanced legal technology and AI tools to streamline case management and enhance client service.
Foster strong, empathetic relationships with clients, guiding them through challenging legal processes with compassion and clarity.

Qualifications:

Experience in Arizona family law, with cases managed from start to finish.

Proven track record of representing clients in court, mediation, and negotiations, prioritizing their best interests.
