Responsibilities:
- We need an attorney who can contribute to developing the strategy of a case and who knows where to find the rules of procedure to back up that case strategy
- We need an attorney who knows how to find your way around the courtroom and how to project confidence and competence when dealing with people on behalf of clients

- Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action
- Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
- Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases
- Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date
- Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process
Qualifications:
- Previous family law experience is highly desired - previous litigation experience required
- Experience in estate planning and probate is highly desired
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience
- Seasoned Family Law Attorney applicants are highly desired
- Extra consideration for those with a criminal justice background
- Bachelor's degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required
- Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
- Must have worked on family law issues for at least 1-2 years; handling of real estate also required
- Ability to successfully represent both plaintiff and defendant sides of a case
