Downtown Los Angeles-based plaintiffs' firm seeking an Experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to become part of our firm. This is a hybrid position with one day mandatory in the office.

The position will mostly involve privacy and consumer rights litigation in California state and federal courts. The work will be hands-on, and the candidate will be responsible for most aspects of case management, including communicating with clients and opposing counsel, drafting and opposing motions, attending conferences and hearings, drafting and responding to discovery, dealing with discovery disputes as they arise, and taking and defending depositions. Candidate must be willing to manage their assigned cases independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle cases from inception through final disposition with strong office support;
  • Attend court-mandated conferences and hearings
  • Learn the basics of website technology
  • Work on cutting-edge lawsuits involving website technology and privacy rights

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Seven (7) years of experience in civil litigation in California
  • Strong advocacy skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage court deadlines

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Substantial litigation experience, preferably in class actions;
  • Familiarity with privacy law, including the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA), federal wiretap statutes, and other privacy-related claims;
  • Familiarity with the tech sector or digital marketing ecosystem (e.g., chatbots, data brokers, SaaS tools);
  • Be a self-starter, and have the willingness to take ownership of cases
