Meldon Law, a well-respected and rapidly growing personal injury law firm, is excited to announce the opening of our newest office in Aventura, Florida. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team and help us continue our tradition of excellence and client-focused advocacy.About the role:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of personal injury experience, with a proven track record handling cases from pre-litigation through trial. You must be comfortable managing a full caseload, communicating with clients, drafting pleadings, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court. Trial litigation experience is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently handle a full personal injury caseload from intake through resolution
- Draft and file legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements
- Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
- Work collaboratively with legal assistants, case managers and paralegals
- Maintain regular and professional communication with clients
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Florida and in good standing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in personal injury law
- Strong trial litigation background
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work full-time, in-office at our Aventura location
- Bilingual English/Spanish desired
