Description:
Position Overview: We are currently on the lookout for a seasoned Patent Attorney or Patent Agent who brings a wealth of knowledge in computer software, with a preference for individuals who also have experience or educational background in quantum computing. This a 100% telecommute position. Therefore, anywhere within the United States is acceptable.Key Responsibilities: Prepare and prosecute patent applications to protect our clients' patent rights.
Requirements:
- Registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in patent law, specifically with drafting and prosecuting patent applications related to computer software. Experience or educational background in quantum computing is preferred.
- Strong technical background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client service skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
