Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our growing litigation team. This role is ideal for a motivated litigator who is comfortable managing a full caseload and handling cases from suit through resolution, including trial when necessary.
The Litigation Attorney will play a key role in case strategy, client advocacy, and courtroom representation, working closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve strong outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a personal injury litigation caseload from filing through resolution or trial
- Develop and execute litigation strategy, including evaluation of liability, damages, and case value
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
- Conduct and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances
- Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, mediations, and trial
- Negotiate with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and defense attorneys
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the litigation process
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure efficient case handling
- Contribute to firm growth through strong case results, professionalism, and client relationships
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on major projects and assignments
- Grow business.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Must have Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- Must have a minimum of 3 years litigation experience in personal injury
- Demonstrated experience handling cases in litigation, including depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent oral advocacy skills and professional courtroom presence
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
