We are seeking an Experienced Litigation Associates.

As the premier employment litigation firm in the nation, we have extensive experience representing Plaintiffs immigrant workers on a Rule 23 Class, Fair Labor Standards Act Collective Class, and individual basis. We conduct a diverse practice and specialize in the recovery of minimum wage and overtime pay; recovery for tip theft, and advocacy on behalf of victims of workplace discrimination and sexual harassment.

Besides employment litigation, we specialize in consumer protection class actions, representing individual consumers to bring big corporations to bear for false, misleading or deceptive claims about their products.

We are adept in the field of commercial litigation, including bankruptcy litigation, and we regularly represent both FLSA judgment creditors and debtors to turn financial challenges into opportunities to move forward.

We also have a proven track record in representing victims of personal injury and medical malpractice to obtain recovery.

Primary responsibilities include managing and assigning cases to junior associates, directing the researching and drafting of discovery requests and responses, motions, and other forms of correspondence to courts, supervising intakes of clients in Chinese and/or Spanish, appearing before federal and state court, and preparing for and conducting depositions.

This position is a great opportunity for attorneys with a demonstrated interest in employment wage-and-hour law.

Requirements:
  • Candidates must have at least two (2) years of relevant TRIAL experience in wage-and-hour and employment discrimination law before US district courts;
  • who is Admitted in New York Federal Bar for at least one (1) year, and preferably in New Jersey;
  • The ideal candidate is diligent, detailed-oriented, well-versed in research and articulate on a professional level and able to work independently.
  • Ability to speak Chinese and/or Spanish preferred, but not required.
