Job Description:
The Modi Law Firm, PLLC is a boutique immigration law firm that was founded over 10 years ago. We are seeking a full-time attorney to start immediately. An ideal candidate must be organized, detailed oriented, and a team player.

Responsibilities include:

Submit affirmative application with USCIS and DOS and represent clients at interviews.
Draft legal cover letters, briefs, and memos
Work with clients on drafting relevant forms, statements and assisting in obtaining relevant documents from clients.
Provide representation to individuals in immigration removal proceedings as well as before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Immigration Court, or state court if related to a client's immigration case.

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to Texas state bar preferred
Fluent in Spanish preferred
2 years' Experience in immigration preferred but not required
Advanced communication skills, both written and oral

Experience:
Prior Immigration experience is not required but 2 to 3 years if highly preferred. We are willing to train those passionate to work immigration.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is a preferred but not required.

Based on experience
