Overview:We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Family Law Attorney who thrives in a fast-paced practice and takes genuine ownership of their work. The ideal candidate is a hardworking professional who can independently manage a substantial caseload, deliver precise work product, and provide excellent client service—without relying on others to carry the bulk of the responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Independently handle a caseload of 35+ family law matters from intake through resolution, including litigation, negotiations, and settlement.
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss case details, provide clear legal guidance, and develop effective strategies.
- Court Representation: Appear in court for motions, hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
- Document Drafting: Prepare high-quality pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents with strong attention to detail.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with paralegals and fellow attorneys while remaining fully accountable for your own cases.
- Adaptability: Respond quickly to changing client needs and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Washington.
- Proven experience in family law.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently while contributing as a team player.
- High attention to detail and a genuine commitment to hard work and client service.
