With offices in downtown Richmond, the firm seeks an experienced and motivated attorney to join its well-established energy and public utility law department.Candidates must have an exemplary academic record, as well as strong analytical, writing, legal research, and oral advocacy skills. Prior experience in litigating and presenting cases before a public utility commission is preferred but not required.
Qualified candidates with strong litigation skills (e.g., the ability to present and cross-examine expert witnesses) and experience and a keen interest in specializing in the firm's energy and public utility law practice area are especially encouraged to apply.
The position provides an opportunity for significant responsibility on a wide range of matters in a cooperative environment. The firm's practice includes representation of large industrial and other types of clients before the Virginia State Corporation Commission.
