Description:

Small civil defense trial firm located in Hagerstown Maryland, who practices throughout the Maryland and D.C. , is looking to hire an associate who is dedicated, eager to learn, and detail oriented. Potential candidates should live in Hagerstown/Frederick area or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:
Associate would be responsible for managing own caseload, collaborating with partners on complex legal issues, interacting with legal staff, and clients.

Qualifications:

Seeking an experienced associate who can hit the ground running. We are looking for someone who is eager to be in a courtroom, excited for challenges, and wants to build their career.
Candidates should have their J.D.
Candidates must admitted to Maryland bar and either be admitted or have potential to waive into D.C.
Candidates should have strong research and writing skills, be detail oriented, and be interested in being in the courtroom.
Candidates must have at least 5 years experience in court/handling cases
Office in Hagerstown, but practice is throughout entire state of Maryland and D.C.
