Baker Botts L.L.P. is seeking an Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits (ECEB) Associate for our Dallas, Houston, or New York office. Candidates should have 2–7 years of experience, ideally in a large law firm, advising on equity plans, executive employment agreements, and compensation and benefits matters arising in M&A, carve-outs, IPOs, and other transactions. Strong academics and an interest in a collaborative, national practice are required.This is a high-visibility role with significant access to leadership, working directly with partners across offices and to support both our Corporate and Tax groups on complex, often cross-border transactions. You'll gain early ownership of workstreams, exposure to high-value matters, and the opportunity to help shape a growing practice. For positions based in the NYC office of Baker Botts L.L.P., the salary range is $235,000 to $420,000 and depends on a candidate's experience.
