We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Estate and Probate Attorney with 5-7 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, probate administration, and a demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and provide comprehensive legal counsel to high-net worth clients.
Responsibilities:
The estate and probate associate attorney will handle and be responsible for all aspects of estate planning and estate and trust administration matters including:
- Handling basic to complex estate planning and estate and trust administration
- Drafting trusts, wills, and other estate planning documents
- Familiarity with probate forms and estate and trust accountings
- Meeting with current and potential clients to discuss and recommend basic and complex estate planning strategies
- Creating custom will and trust language
- Managing all aspects of post-death administration
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and in good standing
- 5-7 years minimum of experience practicing basic to complex estate planning and estate and trust administration
- Strong understanding of estate and gift tax laws
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
