Description:

Why this role
Handle sophisticated estate and tax planning work for high-net-worth clients — without the billable hour grind. At BPE, you'll focus on the work itself: complex trust structures, multi-generational tax strategy, and business succession matters that actually challenge you. No billable targets. No padding timesheets. Just deep, substantive work alongside attorneys who share your standards.

What You'll Do:
Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate, tax, and wealth preservation planning. You'll draft and implement wills, revocable trusts, and irrevocable trusts; counsel clients on income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning; and handle probate, trust, and estate administration. You'll also support business succession and family-office matters, and produce the kind of advanced research and memoranda that complex planning demands.

What We're Looking For:
  • You bring 2+ years of sophisticated estate and tax planning experience from a private practice law firm, with strong drafting skills for complex estate planning documents and superior research and writing capabilities. You're comfortable with nuance and precision — this is not high-volume, form-driven work. JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active Florida Bar membership in good standing are required.
  • Strongly preferred: LL.M. in Tax, CPA license, or accounting background.

What we offer:
  • $150K–$200K base, commensurate with experience, plus bonus potential
  • No billable hour requirements — we mean it
  • Health insurance, retirement plan, and generous PTO
  • CLE fully covered
  • Annual all-expenses-paid firm trip (post-eligibility)
  • A collaborative, multi-office Florida firm with a genuine commitment to work-life balance
