Estimated salary for this position is $140,000-$180,000 per yearFalcon Rappaport & Berkman is seeking an Estate Planning Partner/Senior Associate.
Falcon Rappaport & Berkman is a growing, full-service law firm with particular concentration in taxation, corporate, real estate, litigation, and all aspects of trusts and estates practice.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Handling all stages of estate planning and trust administration
- Client intake and management
- Drafting, reviewing and modifying estate planning documents (including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advanced directives and funding documents)
- Advising on various wealth transfer and asset protection strategies for high-net-worth clients
- Implementing strategies for reducing estate, income and risk mitigation strategies
- Preparing and reviewing technical memoranda for clients involving estate tax issues
- Competently handling complex estate planning matters in consultation with the estate planning team
- Researching various client issues, analyzing options and proposing best course of action
- Reviewing and monitoring work of paralegals and legal assistants. Experience with court appearances a plus
- Corporate experience a plus
- Evaluation of fraudulent transfer and voidable transactions associated with the planning services we provide
Requirements:
- 7 years experience minimum.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Foreign language skills a plus.
- Real Estate Experience a plus
- Evaluation of fraudulent transfer and voidable transaction a plus
- Book is preferred but not required
