Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced estate planning attorney from a boutique or specialized practice to join our firm and assume a central role in a sophisticated, established estate planning practice. Key Responsibilities:
- Assume a leading role in an existing, high-level estate planning practice
- Draft and design sophisticated estate plans, including complex trust structures and wealth transfer strategies
- Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate, tax, and succession planning matters
- Maintain and deepen strong client relationships through responsive, high-touch service
- Work closely with attorneys and staff in a collaborative, boutique-style environment
- Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the firm's estate planning practice
Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of focused estate planning experience, preferably in a boutique or specialized firm
- Demonstrated strength in drafting complex estate planning documents with precision and judgment
- Experience working directly with clients and managing matters with appropriate independence
- Strong interpersonal skills; affable, approachable, and service-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset
- Licensed to practice law (or ability to become licensed) in New Mexico
