About the Role:
  • Draft and Review Estate Planning Documents, Including Wills, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives
  • Assist Clients with Comprehensive Estate Planning Strategies Tailored to Individual and Family Needs
  • Support Senior Attorneys on Complex Estate and Tax Planning Matters
  • Participate in Client Meetings and Maintain Ongoing Client Relationships
  • Assist with Trust Funding and Estate Administration Matters, as Needed, Including Conducting Client and Trust Beneficiary Meetings, Preparing and Filing Probate Forms, Notices, Probate Inventories, Probate Accountings, Closing Estates with The Probate Court, Preparing Trustee Acceptance and Appointment Documents, Assist in Retitling Assets, Produce Summaries and Accountings for Trust Beneficiaries, and Collaborate with Client Advisors Such as Financial Planners, Accountants and Other Attorneys
  • Assist in Preparing Mass Health Applications, Counseling Clients on Eligibility for Mass Health, and Preparing Eligibility Opinion Letters
  • Support Senior Attorneys in Guardianships, and Conservatorships (including Attending Court Hearings).

Qualifications:
  • Admitted to Practice Law in The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Solid Knowledge and Skills in The Areas of Estate Planning Strategies, Probate, Trust Administration, Income, Gift, Estate, and Generation-Skipping Tax
  • Strong Drafting, Analytical, and Client Communication Skills
  • Ll.M. in Taxation or Elder Law Preferred, but Not Required
  • 2+ Years of Estate Planning And/or Trusts and Estate Administration Experience.
  • Detail-Oriented with The Ability to Manage Multiple Matters Simultaneously

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per Year
