The Newark, New Jersey office of FBT Gibbons is seeking an experienced Environmental Attorney.

Our dynamic, distinguished environmental law group is recognized for its service in litigation, redevelopment (including Brownfields projects), real estate transactions, and regulatory and compliance. This opportunity is tailor-made for an attorney interested in working on significant, high-profile cleanup and litigation matters, some involving the region's most prominent development and waterways, for a sophisticated client base.

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in environmental law including regulatory/compliance and/or litigation, ISRA, side remediation, and dule diligence experience
  • Portable business is a plus but not required
  • Admission in New Jersey and New York

Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $200,000-$215,000 reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.

Associates are also eligible for:
  • Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level
  • Annual subjective bonus
