Allen Matkins is seeking an environmental attorney with 3 – 6 years of experience to join our nationally recognized Environmental and Natural Resources practice. Ideal candidates will have:

Experience representing clients in environmental litigation in federal and/or state courts on a wide range of environmental regulatory defense and administrative enforcement matters, including issues arising under CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and related California statutes.
Environmental regulatory, administrative enforcement, and/or transactional counseling experience is a plus.
Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional research, analytical, interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.
A high level of academic achievement.
Admission to the State Bar of California.

The anticipated base salary range for this full-time role is $225,000 to $300,000 per year. Actual salary will depend upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, job-related skills, and qualifications.
