Required Experience and Skills:
- Significant experience with environmental and regulatory work includes working knowledge of the Clean Air Act, Superfund, water quality, wastewater, sewage, stormwater management, wetlands, water rights, solid and hazardous waste, and endangered species protection.
- Additional knowledge with development work including regulations governing brownfields, coastal development, and stormwater.
- Experience practicing before federal, state and local environmental and natural resource regulatory agencies. Experience in the energy and/or renewable industry is also advantageous.
A successful candidate will be meticulous with details and be able to work both effectively as part of a team while also being able to assume individual responsibility for client matters with direct client interaction and have:
- Excellent writing skills and strong academic credentials
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- A licensed in South Carolina or have a transferable UBE score (https://barapplication.sccourts.org/admissionToPractice.cfm) from another state.
