Description:

A leading plaintiff employment law firm in San Francisco is seeking a sharp, compassionate attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate (0–2 years' experience) who is dedicated to service, passionate about social justice, and eager to learn hands-on litigation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with senior attorneys and staff on all aspects of plaintiff-side employment cases
  • Interact with potential clients and existing clients, assisting with case evaluation and development
  • Draft demand letters, complaints, and other legal documents
  • Learn and participate in the discovery process, including meet and confer sessions under senior attorney supervision
  • Participate in depositions and mediations
  • Occasionally assist with trial preparation and trial work
  • Maintain detailed case notes and support case management
  • Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish (fluency not required, but Spanish language skills are essential)

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) and California Bar admission (or pending results)
  • 0–2 years of experience in employment law or related legal field (entry-level candidates encouraged)
  • Demonstrated commitment to social justice and advocacy for employee rights
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Spanish language skills required (fluency not required)
  • Compassion, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
