Description:

A Law Firm Handling Corporate and Technology Matters is seeking a 1L, 2L, or LL.M. law student to work with the Entertainment, Technology and Advertising (ETA) Practice Group in Century City, as an intern for 10-weeks during the summer of 2024.

The ETA Internship provides real world experience and exposure to the international multi-disciplinary practice of entertainment law. As part of the ETA team, the student will receive valuable hands-on exposure and working knowledge while completing challenging objectives. The student will work directly with attorneys on legal matters and participate in training programs that take place during their period of employment. Assignments will provide interns with a greater understanding and appreciation of the role of a lawyer in complex matters both from a business and an advisory perspective.

Requirements:
Applicants should meet the following qualifications:
  • 1L, 2L, or LL.M. law student at an accredited ABA law school;
  • Must be in good academic standing (cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher is required);
  • Legal entertainment or media internship experience;
  • Success in entertainment or contract law classes;
  • Availability to be in office in Century City minimum of 3 days per week;
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, shifting deadlines and priorities;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; and
  • Interest in a career related to entertainment law.
