The Pittsburgh office of Reed Smith is seeking a midlevel associate to join our Energy and Natural Resources group. Candidates should ideally have three-five years of experience in oil and gas litigation, with some exposure to environmental and regulatory litigation preferred. The candidate should be familiar with the basics of oil and gas law and the oil and gas industry in the Appalachian Basin. The candidate should be able to draft preliminary and dispositive motions and discovery responses, handle various sizes of document review and production projects, assist in deposition preparation (both offensively and defensively) and have a strong desire to move towards running their own matters. $235,000- $365,000. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith's pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
