Employment / Litigation
  • Handle the day-to-day management of a docket of cases
  • Advise employer clients on human resources issues
  • Conduct investigations of discrimination/harassment claims
  • Draft position statements in EEOC and NYDHR proceedings
  • Draft legal pleadings and motions
  • Manage discovery process, including drafting and responding to written discovery requests and related motion practice
  • Attend court conferences
  • conduct/defend depositions
  • Draft and review employment agreements, severance agreements, and restrictive covenants
  • Draft and review employee handbooks

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of litigation and relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills
  • New York State Bar admission (mandatory) and admission to the SDNY and EDNY courts (preferred)
