This position will sit in our New Orleans office.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
  • Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
  • Provide advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • This role will have a strong emphasis on OSHA work and work with the OSHA practice group

Skills and Educational Requirements:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials
  • 3+ years of litigation experience, employment law background preferred.
  • OSHA experience or a willingness to practice in OSHA preferred.
  • Current Louisiana Bar admission
  • Some experience in Federal litigation required
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment
