About the Job:
A Labor and Employment Litigation Law Firm aggressively represents employees who have been discriminated and/or retaliated against in the workplace, as well as whistleblowers and victims of wage theft. We work to promote equality in the workplace, empower employees and hold employers accountable for unlawful behavior. We are seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney with at least six years of employment litigation experience to join our team. The right candidate will be a creative, strategic, aggressive self-starter who enjoys mentoring less experienced attorneys, is independently motivated, able to multi-task, and who interacts well with clients and co-workers. A Labor and Employment Litigation Law Firm attorneys are responsible for managing their own case load. A Labor and Employment Litigation Law Firm has an office in New York City but remains fully remote and committed to workplace flexibility. This role will primarily involve employment discrimination and retaliation claims as well as whistleblower and wage and hour matters.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited Law School and NY State Bar Admission.
  • Candidates should possess 6+ years of employment discrimination litigation experience.
  • Must be organized and able to manage assigned cases independently.
  • Extensive experience conducting depositions, opposing summary judgment, and appearing in Court.
  • Must have experience managing cases at administrative agencies (EEOC/DHR/etc).
  • Wage and Hour experience a plus.
  • Bilingual a plus.
  • Knowledge of Clio Manage and Clio Grow [Knowledge of Clio is preferred, but not required].
  • Knowledge of Disco [Knowledge of Disco is preferred, but not required].
  • Knowledge of Kenect [Knowledge of Kenect is preferred, but not required].
