We are a fast-growing plaintiff-side employment law firm representing employees in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage & hour, and other employment matters throughout California.
Our environment is hands-on, fast-moving, and built for attorneys who want to litigate. You will not be stuck doing isolated research work while someone else handles the important aspects of the case. We are looking for an attorney who can take ownership, work directly on active matters, and bring practical experience in depositions, negotiations, hearings, trial preparation, and trial work.
We also believe the future of legal practice belongs to firms that know how to use technology intelligently. We actively integrate AI and modern legal tools into our workflow so attorneys can spend more time thinking strategically and less time buried in repetitive work.
What You'll Do:
- Manage employment litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and mediation materials
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear at hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials
- Participate in litigation strategy and case evaluation
- Prepare cases for trial and take an active role in trial work
- Communicate directly with clients throughout their case
- Mentor and collaborate with junior team members when appropriate
What We're Looking For:
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- Significant employment litigation experience
- Prior trial experience, including meaningful participation in jury trials and/or bench trials
- Strong writing, research, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Experience handling cases with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Ability to independently manage litigation while contributing to broader case strategy
- Comfortable working in a technology-forward environment
- Someone proactive, sharp, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team
