Kaufman Dolowich LLP is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our growing Philadelphia office. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience while working alongside a collaborative team of accomplished attorneys on sophisticated and high-impact matters. We are seeking a motivated litigation associate with 3+ years of experience who is eager to develop professionally, take ownership of cases, and grow within a nationally respected law firm.

As a Litigation Associate at KD, you will play an active role in all phases of litigation and gain meaningful courtroom and client exposure, including:

Drafting and responding to written discovery, pleadings, and motions
Taking and defending depositions
Preparing for and participating in hearings, mediations, and court appearances
Conducting legal research and developing litigation strategies
Managing case files and assisting with all aspects of case progression from inception through resolution
Performing case assessments and evaluating liability and exposure
Maintaining proactive communication with clients while providing strategic legal guidance and case updates
Collaborating closely with Partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters

Qualifications:

J.D. degree with strong academic credentials
Admission to practice in Pennsylvania required; New Jersey admission is a plus
3+ years of litigation experience
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented mindset with a strong desire for professional growth and advancement
