We are excited to bring on more forward thinkers.We are currently searching for a Litigation Attorney with employment law experience to join our team of passionate and dedicated legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of diverse employment law matters, including wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Engage in settlement negotiations.
- Lead deposition preparation, prepare for and take depositions.
- Oversee and adhere to litigation deadlines.
- Maintain direct communication with clients, opposing counsel, and witnesses.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Provide oversight and direction to support staff and paralegals.
- Prepare for and attend mediations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar.
- A minimum of three years of experience in employment law (representing plaintiffs or defendants).
- Proven ability to handle cases independently from inception to resolution.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in legal practice.
- Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous.
