A Global Law Firm is seeking a highly skilled associate or counsel to join our growing practice focused on Employment & Labor law. The ideal candidate will have experience in Texas employment litigation advice and counseling. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing legal research; drafting motions, pleadings, and dispositive motions; attending court appearances; drafting and responding to discovery and meet and confer letters; defending individual and class action wage and hour claims both in court and in arbitration; responding to government investigation and inquiries.

Key Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Strong background in federal and state statutes that affect the employment relationship.
  • Have a strong background in Texas employment litigation and advice and counseling.
  • Significant experience with adversary proceedings, including litigating matters in both state and federal courts.
  • Trial experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with employment manuals and other relevant employment-related documents.
  • Comfort with direct client interaction, including providing legal counseling and advice on employment-related matters.
  • Candidates should be an active member and in good standing of the Texas bar.
