You'll provide practical and business-focused legal advice, support and counsel on all aspects of employment law, partnering with HR professionals and business leaders across the Enterprise Mobility organization.
This is an in-person role at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO, with the possibility for a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day counsel on labor and employment matters to senior leadership, field and corporate HR professionals, building credibility as a trusted legal partner.
- Create and implement proactive compliance tools and processes for key regulatory areas, including Title VII, DOT, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, FCRA, ADEA, USERRA, and other state and federal employment statutes.
- Support internal investigations.
- Strategically and actively manage and assist with pending charges and employment litigation.
- Proactively identify trends and gaps in processes, partnering with HR and business partners to implement positive change and avoid claims.
- Interface with and manage outside counsel as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships, credibility, and trust with clients, stakeholders, legal team members, and other colleagues.
- Contribute to other projects and initiatives that strengthen our legal and HR practices.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in employment law (law firm or in-house), including experience in:
- Employment law compliance
- All aspects of employee-related litigation, including discovery, motion, practice, negotiation, arbitration and trial
- License to practice in Missouri (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
