Description:
Parker Poe is seeking a mid to senior‑level Litigation Associate to join our Eminent Domain & Condemnation Practice in the Atlanta office. This role focuses on representing property owners, businesses, and governmental entities in eminent domain/condemnation, and related real property disputes throughout Georgia and the Southeast.Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of eminent domain and condemnation proceedings
- Participate in jury trials and evidentiary hearings
- Conduct discovery, take depositions, and manage expert witnesses
- Draft and argue related motions
- Engage in negotiations and mediations
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in Georgia or eligible for admission
- 3–7 years of experience in commercial litigation,
- Eminent domain/condemnation, real property, land use, zoning experience a plus
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills as well as research abilities
- Ability to manage a high‑volume, litigation‑focused practice
