Description:
Position Summary:We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Elder Abuse Attorney to represent elderly clients who have experienced physical, emotional, financial, or neglect-related abuse. The attorney will handle litigation involving nursing homes, assisted living facilities, caregivers and other forms of elder mistreatment. This role requires strong advocacy skills, litigation experience, and a commitment to protecting vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in elder abuse and neglect cases from intake through resolution.
- Conduct legal research, investigations, and case evaluations.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement demands, and other legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Work with medical experts, investigators, and social service professionals to build cases.
- Advise clients and families regarding legal rights, remedies, and case strategy.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers, defense counsel, and opposing parties.
- Maintain accurate case files and comply with all court deadlines.
- Stay informed on changes in elder law, healthcare regulations, and abuse prevention laws.
- Collaborate with support staff and contribute to client-centered legal services.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of elder abuse and personal injury litigation expereince is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Experience with discovery, depositions, mediation, and courtroom proceedings.
- Compassionate and professional demeanor when working with elderly clients and families.
- Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
Pay: From $200,000.00 per year
