Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve.We have an immediate opening in our Chicago office for an Education Associate with three to five years of experience preferred. The candidate should have experience representing educational institutions and other education-sector clients in litigation, investigations, and counseling matters. Experience advising on higher education regulatory issues is preferred but not required. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education business unit.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active Illinois bar license. We look for proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial individuals with varied backgrounds, interests, and experience for a diverse candidate pool.

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in Illinois is $230,000 to $270,000.
